Terms and Conditions
Current LumicSec operating policy. Mandatory rights under applicable law continue to apply, and any enterprise or jurisdiction-specific commitment must be expressly agreed in writing.
1. Service and contracting identity
LumicSec is the service name used for this product. For a paid order, the legal or business identity accepting payment should be stated in the applicable invoice, payment instruction or written order before payment. If that identity is not clear, do not submit payment; contact LumicSec for clarification.
2. Account eligibility and organizational authority
You must be legally able to use the service and, when acting for a company, agency or client, have authority to bind or act for that organization for the requested security workflow. You are responsible for the accuracy of account, billing and authorization information you provide.
3. Authorized-use requirement
LumicSec may be used only for websites, domains, applications and systems that you own, manage, or are explicitly authorized to assess. You must not use it for unauthorized access, brute force, destructive exploitation, disruption, credential theft, access-control bypass, malware delivery or data extraction.
4. Security-review scope and report limitations
The service is designed for safe public checks, ownership-controlled deeper review, reporting, remediation workflows and retest evidence. Security scores and reports are decision-support outputs. LumicSec does not guarantee complete security, does not guarantee every vulnerability will be found, and does not provide a penetration-test certificate or legal compliance certification unless a separate written engagement explicitly says otherwise.
5. Current paid-plan term and renewal model
The current assisted-billing checkout offers paid access in one-month terms and requires manual payment verification before access is activated or changed. The current flow does not automatically renew or debit a customer; renewal requires a new customer-initiated payment unless LumicSec later introduces a recurring-payment flow that is separately disclosed and authorized.
6. Plan changes, prices and service limits
Plan features, prices, quotas and limits are those shown in the applicable checkout or written offer when the customer submits the paid request. A plan change can alter future entitlements when the change is approved. LumicSec may change future plan offerings or limits, but a materially different paid term should be disclosed before the customer purchases or renews that term.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Because the current assisted-billing flow does not automatically renew, a customer can simply choose not to renew future paid access. Requests to end paid access early or obtain a refund are handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Cancellation by itself does not create a refund entitlement for work, access or capacity already delivered.
8. Customer data and processing permission
Customers retain their rights in the URLs, reports and other materials they are entitled to submit. By using the service, you authorize LumicSec to process the submitted website/security information as needed to authenticate the account, run authorized reviews, store evidence and reports, provide remediation/retest workflows, enforce service limits, provide support and protect the service. Do not submit data you do not have the right to process.
9. Third-party service dependencies
LumicSec relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers for functions such as authentication, hosting and database services. Their availability and processing may affect LumicSec. The Privacy Policy and Data Processing Notice describe the current high-level provider categories and data handling.
10. Availability and maintenance
LumicSec may perform maintenance, deploy security fixes, change defensive controls or experience provider/network interruptions. No uninterrupted-availability or specific uptime commitment is made unless a separate written service agreement expressly provides one.
11. Suspension and termination
LumicSec may restrict, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address unauthorized scanning, abuse, security risk, fraud, non-payment, legal requirements or material violation of these terms. Protective suspension does not authorize LumicSec to erase historical billing or security evidence merely to hide an incident or dispute. Data handling after termination remains subject to the Privacy Policy, legitimate recordkeeping needs and applicable law.
12. Intellectual property and customer materials
LumicSec and its licensors retain rights in the product, software, branding and service design. Customers retain rights they already hold in their own submitted materials and may use reports generated for their authorized assets subject to these terms and any applicable plan restrictions.
13. Changes, legal rights and jurisdiction-specific terms
Non-waivable legal rights continue to apply. Any governing-law, dispute-forum, limitation-of-liability, indemnity or jurisdiction-specific term must be expressly stated in a legally reviewed version of these terms, an applicable written order or another binding agreement; LumicSec does not rely on unstated jurisdiction-specific clauses. Material future changes to these terms should be published with an updated date and, where appropriate, communicated before a new paid term or renewal.
